Energy Efficiency Best Practice
Programme (EEBPP)
This is the UK Government's principle energy efficiency
information, advice and research programme.
The EEBPP aims to help private and public organisations
to reduce their energy bills by up to 20% and promote
best practice.
The programme provides

Advice and support in the planning, design, implementation
and management of energy-efficiency schemes including
a free site visits to help identify energy saving
measures.

The Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust offers practical assistance
and grants to SMEs to help increase the take
up of energy saving measures or initiatives.
The Trust has also initiated a pilot programme to facilitate
the provision of energy services through energy suppliers
and contract energy management companies to SMEs

The National Energy Foundation
The National Energy Foundation is an independent educational
charity working for more efficient, innovative and safe
use of energy. The foundation provides information on
a wide range of energy issues including the use of renewable
energy administers the Energy
Efficiency Accreditation Scheme and manages the
network of Energy Efficiency Advice Centres.

(EEACs)
There are a network of 52 Government funded EEACs across
the UK providing local centres of free and impartial
information and advice on energy efficiency to householders
and SMEs.
