There are a network of 52 Government funded EEACs across
the UK providing local centres of free and impartial
information and advice on energy efficiency to householders
and help SMEs reduce energy costs and atmospheric emissions.
The centres were set up and managed by The National
Energy Foundation until 2001 when control was transferred
to the Energy Saving Trust (EST).
Each Centre manages a local network of energy efficiency
installers. Interested installers can benefit by registering
with their local EEAC.
