The DEFRA codes of Good Agricultural Practice for the
protection of Water, Air and Soil provide the farming
industry with a benchmark of good practice. They contain
a mixture of advice, recommendations and obligations
aimed at farmers, advisers, consultants and enforcement
agencies.
Note: All farmers joining ERDP agri-environment schemes
will be given copies and will be encouraged to comply
with the recommendations.
